Finding the Event Site Templates area

If you are an administrator or have the appropriate permissions for your business unit, click the business unit breadcrumb link at the top of the Attendease dashboard
โ€‹

Once there, select "Event Site Templates" from the Events > Templates > Website section of the left-hand options.

Disabling a template

To disable a template you have two options.

You can check the selection boxes next to one or more templates, then choose Disable All Selected at the top of the template table.

Or you can select the crossed out eye icon on the far right of the template table to disable a single template.

Disabled templates will be moved to the Disabled tab. You can find this tab at the top of the template table.

Templates can be enabled here using the same methods as disabling them. Within the template table check a selection box on the left and choose enable all selected at the top, or click the lidless eye icon on the far right.

This will move the template back to the Enabled tab.

Renaming a template

When viewing the Enabled tab, select the green pencil icon on the right to open the editing workspace.

In this area you can rename the template, change the template description, or change which business units have access to the template.

When you have made your changes click save in the bottom right.

To exit a template that you have opened without saving, select the grey Back in the bottom right or use the grey left-arrow next to the template name at the top.

Editing a template

There is no way to edit a template directly. The procedure for customers is:

  1. Create a new event and select the Event Site template you want to update.

  2. In the new event make the changes to the Event Site that you want to save.

  3. Go to the Event Site Templates area using the steps above

  4. Disable the old template using the steps above.

  5. Optional. you can now rename the disabled template to something else, and rename the new enabled template to the old template's name, completing the replacement.

This will hide the old template and allow you to save the updated new template in it's place and using it's name.
