Email templates are found on the business unit level, select the business unit from the breadcrumbs at the top of the Attendease Dashboard.

Select Events on the left, and finally under the Templates heading, select Email.

Here you'll select "New Template" to begin.

You can select from 3 different starting points: Layouts, Themes, or Code from Scratch.

Selecting a layout gives a general shape for the email and adds only blocks to it, selecting a Theme will fully populate the email with colour and images as well as blocks, Code from Scratch allows you to insert your own code.

(Attendease does not provide troubleshooting support for code supplied by a source other than Attendease)

Choose your starting point and click to continue.

You'll now be in the email template editing area with a selection of blocks on the left as well as general appearance options. This works similarly to the event site creation process, just on the other side of the page.

To add a block, mouse over it and select either the up arrow to add it to the top of the email template or the down arrow to add it to the bottom.

Once a block has been added you can continue to adjust it's position by mousing over the block on the right and using the arrows.

To edit a block, mouse over it and select the pencil icon, this will update the left side of the page with block configuration.

To delete a block, mouse over it and select the garbage can icon and then click the red confirm button to complete.

(Blocks cannot be recovered once deleted!)

After you've made your changes, or whenever you like, set a name for the template and save it.

Pressing the back arrow in the upper left will return you to the list of templates.

In the list of templates you can use the down arrow to delete or duplicate templates, or click Edit to change their content.
