Host a webinar on-demand by offering a recording after the webinar is over.

Any event that uses the Virtual Experience video option can be recorded and offered on demand. This includes a standard webinar, a webinar in Webcast Mode, or a pre-recorded webinar.

1. Navigate to the Scheduling module, then select the Sessions menu item. Identify the session you are going to use for your virtual event or create one.

2. Select the Video tab.

3. Select the checkbox "Make recordings available to attendees".

4. Add the session to your schedule using the Session Slotter.

5. When you have launched the webinar room and are ready to start the session, ensure you have selected "Start Recording".

NOTE:

  • Once the session is over please allow time for the recording to be processed and become available. The amount of time required will depend on the length of the recording.

  • Even if you choose to stop recording before the end of the session, the recording will not begin to process until the end time of the session.

  • You can only record once during a session. You cannot stop and start the recording, it will only capture the first instance.

Access your recordings by navigating to the Video module, then by selecting the Recordings menu item. Here you can download or play back your recordings.

6. Once your recording has processed it will automatically become available on-demand. Navigate to the schedule on your website and browse for the session. You should see a "Watch Recording" button above the recorded session.

NOTE: You must meet the requirements to access the recording that are set on the session profile. You must be signed in AND either registered for the event OR registered for the event and have that session on your personal schedule.
