Use the Event Information block to add a section to feature key information about the event, drive users to the registration page, and present video content to registered attendees.


The Event Info block features the following elements:

Content

Event name

The event name is dynamically pulled in from the "Name" field on the Event Details screen.

Event description

The event description must be added into the "Event Description" field (this will not be dynamically pulled in).

Event location

Add an event location (this will not be dynamically pulled in). Leaving this field empty will remove the event location.

Event dates

Add the event dates (this will not be dynamically pulled in). Leaving this field empty will remove the event dates.

Event times

Add the event times (this will not be dynamically pulled in). Leaving this field empty will

Preferences

Event address

Toggle this option on to display the event/venue address. This is dynamically pulled in from the Location screen under the Event tab.

โ€‹Hide "Register" button?

Toggle on "Hide Register Button When Registration is Unavailable" if you want the "Register" button on the Event Info block to be hidden at times when event registration is unavailable. This includes after your event is over or if registration has manually been disabled.

Google Map

Toggle on "Show a Google Maps modal" to display a Google Map in a dialog window based on the event address. Add the URL of a Google Map into the "Event Map URL" field to override the address pulled from the "Location" screen.

Show registration status

When toggled on, this option will display the user's registration status. For example, if the user is not registered it will display "You are not registered".

When toggled on, this option will display a button linking to a registered user's account pages including their personal schedule, any event surveys, their order/invoice info, their account information, and their registration information.

Registration button

A button linking to the registration page. This cannot be removed.

Note: This assumes the slug of your registration page is /register/ so this button will not work if you've changed the slug of your registration page.

Watch now button

The "Watch now" button will appear for registered users if the "Watch now" feature has been setup and enabled. This will allow registered users to access video content during the event. To learn more about the "Watch now" feature see "How to setup a webinar."

Toggling this option on will enable the "Watch now" feature for this block and reveal a number of related settings. See "How to setup a webinar" for more information.
