Additional fields

Use Metadata to create additional fields, especially useful if you're making use of Attendease' event API.

Additional fields (i.e. metadata) allow event organizers to include extra information to be attached to session or presenter profiles. Attendease includes a baseline set of fields that most events would have in common.

We recognize that there may be other information that one may wish to attach and display about their sessions and presenters. For example, for an international organization's event, perhaps one might wish to include the office in which a presenter works or list the degrees a presenter has earned on their profile page. For sessions, it could be a list of prerequisites or required materials to bring along (pencil, paper, etc). While there's some crossover between filters and metadata, metadata would be more suitable when the data for the resource is unique or arbitrary.
